Eleven months after signing an Interagency Agreement with the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service (FMCS) to develop a framework to review FAA’s aviation noise policy, there is still no final product. ANR asked FAA last week for an update on its aviation noise policy review. FAA promised at the outset of the review in January 2021 that it would be transparent with the public on how it would proceed with the review but, to date, has not been so.
