Brazilian state-led oil company Petrobras more than tripled LNGimports in 2021 to a fresh record high in a bid to counter the country'sworst drought in 20 years as typically cheaper hydropower was in shortsupply, according to the company.Petrobras imported a record 23 million cu m/d of LNG in 2021, upfrom 7.5 million cu m/d in 2020, the company said Jan. 12. That toppedthe previous record of 20 million cu m/d set in 2014.
