摘要

This research constructs a 26 GHz waveguideslot antenna with decent gain. The application ofmillimeter-wave requires high bandwidth and gain toincrease the traffic and users for millimeter-wave and 5Gtechnology. The application of millimeter waves requiresa high gain and bandwidth to achieve the requirementsof traffic and users increasing for 5G technology andexisting millimeter-wave. High-gain and power handlingare provided by waveguide slot antennas. Three waveguidestructures which are two waveguide antennae anda waveguide horn have been simulated by using CSTand fabricated by a 3D printer. The tilt technique hasbeen used with a waveguide to increase the bandwidthand gain of an antenna. A waveguide with broad wall tiltslots has one diction beam while a waveguide with broadand narrow wall tilt slots has two direction beams, eachlength of the wall enough to distribute six symmetric tiltslots. The gain of 14.3 dB and 1.9 GHz bandwidth arerecorded for an antenna with broad wall tilt slots withone beam. While the waveguide with broad and narrowwall tilt slots achieved a gain of 13.9dB and a bandwidthof 1.9 GHz. The proposed antenna is a decent candidatefor use with millimeter waves.
