To the Editor: In the editorial commentary for this report the following statement was made: 'This is particularly alarming in the subgroup with normal erectile function who underwent penile prosthesis placement."1 In response to this statement I ask, what is normal erectile function? Is it the absence of erectile dysfunction (ED)? If so, what is ED?
