摘要

The Special Issue Qualitative and quantitative analysis of nonlinear and nonlocalreaction-diffusion models. Applications is dedicated to researchers working in thefields of qualitative and quantitative analysis of nonlinear and nonlocal mathemati-cal models. Two main topics are addressed, as follows. First, a rigorous qualitativestudy is elaborated for nonlocal second-order problems (systems), equipped withnonlinear anisotropic diffusion and cubic nonlinear reactions that are subject to dif-ferent types of inhomogeneous boundary conditions (specifically, a general class ofnonlinear dynamic boundary conditions). Several nonlocal models have been pro-posed in recently published mathematical literature and extensively investigated bydifferent authors. This direction is at the center of intense scientific studies on theconsistency of theoretical formulations, as well as on the selection of experimentaldata. The situations previously treated in the literature can be generalized by pass-ing from the Laplacian operator to nonlinear operators such as: nonlinear operatorsthat do not exhibit any homogeneity property.
