Agmet LLC is a leading recycler of metal-bearing industrial products based in Oakwood Village, Ohio, with two plants in the Midwest, an office in Florida and a network of affiliated companies located throughout North America. Established in 1981 with a focus on leading technology to keep hazardous and metal-bearing materials out of landfills, Agmet has developed a proprietary process to effectively concentrate valuable metal units, including nickel, cobalt, and copper from industrial by-product streams. These streams include plating residues (many from automotive applications), catalysts and lithium-ion batteries. Agmet established itself as the industry-leader recycler for OEM manufacturers of batteries in 2018.
