French regional pharmacovigilance centres identified reports of isolated arthral-gia, i.e. without associated signs or symptoms of haemorrhage, attributed to oral anticoagulants and recorded in the French pharmacovigilance database up to December 2019 (1). The anticoagulants studied were two factor Xa inhibitors, rlvaroxaban and apixaban, and a throm-bin inhibitor, dabigatran.Reports were only selected if the anticoagulant was the sole drug implicated.
