The company ARP in Alpirsbach-Peterzell, Germany, has been an expert in chip shredding and chip processing systems for over 30 years. Their customers often process aluminium, steel and brass, and the chips resulting from such processing are collected, processed and recycled by ARP systems. Denis Weisser, project manager at ARP, can tell you a thing or two about it: "Furnace temperatures are a very hot thing," is the conclusion he drew from many projects with socalled remelters. This term mostly designates aluminium-sector companies that process the chips they produce during the manufacture of their products in-house and melt them down with new raw material and immediately process it further.
