Queensland-Worley has won a front-end engineering and design (FEED) contract for the Central Queensland Hydrogen (CQ-HQ) project planned to be built in Australia. Initially, the project will involve the installation of up to 640 megawatts of electrolyzers and the production of up to 200 t/d of gaseous renewable hydrogen. Offtak-ers will purchase the gas to convert to renewable ammonia or liquefied hydrogen. Commercial operations are expected to start in 2028.
