After two Covid-related bad years, the famous LME Week got back on its feet in London. Between 28 October and 1 November, the British capital hosted the biggest yearly event in industrial metal trading. Nevertheless, the outcome demonstrates that the Covid setback has not been overcome completely. This is especially true for aluminium, the most important metal for the LME. According to some sources, the aluminium market currently seems to be oversupplied despite the fact that there are quite a number of people claiming that a significant aluminium deficit still exists.
