The Safety and EMC newsletter, September 2021, Issue 178 reported on a public consultation set up by the UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE) to get feedback for the changes that it is proposing to the Personal Protective Equipment at Work 1992 Regulations (PPER). The consultation ran from 19 July 2021 until 17 August 2021 and, it mainly covered the implications of amending the legislation to require employers to provide limb (b) workers with the same health and safety protections in respect of PPE as they do currently for employees.
