Monitoring of oxygen saturation of blood is vital in emergency medicine. Although pulse oximeter is a highly accurate device to measure oxygen saturation in artery, it does not work in the state of shock or hypoperfusion. In such cases, tissue oxygen saturation (StO2) becomes an alternative for understanding the patient's condition. In this article, our approach for estimating StO2 of human web is presented. The method of the estimation, experiments with human webs and rats, and the limitation are presented.
