摘要

Dear Editor, With much interest, we analysed the case report titled “Sympathetic Storm or Cytokine Storm: A Diagnostic Dilemma in a Patient of Traumatic Brain Injury with COVID-19” by Singh et al. 1. This specific case involves the management of traumatic brain injury along with Covid-19. It showcases an overlap between the two by delving into both the similarities in symptoms seen in patients and the varying modes of treatment that are employed for the same. We also discuss Paroxysmal Sympathetic Hyperactivity (PSH), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) along with COVID-19, and blood markers that should be monitored throughout treatment for their detection, as well as ongoing treatments for traumatic brain injury in COVID-19 patients.
