As a person actively engaged in the electric utility industry for most of my career (engineering and operations), I found your April 2023 article on "electric car lies" most interesting. There are many misconceptions and misinformation floating around about EVs. However, if we look back to the turn of the last century, the early 1900s, people were opposed to automobiles and wanted to stick with their horses and buggies. There were no paved roads or any fueling network for this new technology. I view today's EVs in the same light. It's a disruptive technology, but range anxiety coupled with an inadequate (but improving) charging infrastructure causes some to criticize this new technology.
