植物栄養に関する国際会議であるInternational Symposium on Iron Nutrition Interactions in Plants （ISINIP 2022）が2022年7月4日8日の日程で，フラ ンスのランスにおいて開催されました.ISINIPは，植物 の鉄を中心に亜鉛やマンガンなどの金属栄養元素，カドミ ウムなどの有害金属元素の吸収や集積などに関わる世界 中の研究者が集まる学会です.コロナによって2年延期さ れましたが，対面方式で開催されました.参加者はこれ までより少なく約100人で，そのうち，日本からは8人でした（写真1）.今回の ISINIP では，1.Fe in microalgae, 2.Improving Fe availability in soils, 3. Plant responses to Fe deficiency, 4. Regulation of Fe uptake, 5. Control of Fe homeostasis, 6. Fe and development, 7. Fe-depen-dent proteins, 8. Fe biofortification, 9. Interactions with other elements,10. Interaction with microorganismの10テーマでセッションが行われました.私は修士論文の成果を「The relationship between mutation of amino acid and metal transportation ability of OsNRAMP5」と いうタイトルでセツシヨン9でポスター発表しました.
