AATCC is excited to welcome Bhavani Jayaraman as the new Marketing Associate. Jayaraman graduated from North Carolina State University with an undergraduate degree in Fashion Textile Management in 2021, and recently completed her Master of Textiles in Marketing, Branding, Creative Design in 2022. Her previous work experience includes a Marketing Internship with Unifi where she was responsible for market research and tradeshow lists. Jayaraman also worked for JM Hospitality Solutions as a Business Development Specialist, where she refreshed brand elements and managed social media content. At AATCC, Jayaraman will work with all teams to build marketing strategies, branding guidelines, and to improve AATCC's marketing communications. Raymond E. Horbert, Sr., 87, died on March 9, 2023. Horbert was born in Providence, RI, USA on March 20, 1935. After furthering his education at Bryant College and the Rhode Island School of Design, Horbert began his working career at Cranston Print Works Co. and became part of the management team at three different locations. He joined American Cyanamid Co. and later US Oil Co./SUS Chemical where he became a Vice-President and Co-Owner. Upon the company's merging with Ivax Industries, he became Vice-President, Marketing and Sales. In later years, he was an Independent Sales Consultant for several national corporations.
