In this study 70 chilli germplasra/ varieties were screened against yellow mite Polyphagotarsonemus lulus (Banks) under field condition at the Vegetable Research Farm, C S Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur during 2017-18. The genotypes were observed for mite incidence and scored into five categories based on leaf damage (downward curling symptoms on leaves). The results revealed that none were found immune; 11 genotypes (G-4, Selection long-1, Pusa Jwala, M-7-1, NA-11, NT-74, Achar-36, 810-45, 910-27, 47-3 and 71-15) were found resistant with 1-25 leaf damage, 36 moderately resistant (26-50 leaf damage), 17 susceptible (51-75 leaf damage) and the rest six (2016, M-2-1,3530-1, 810-66, 8304-A and 2031) highly susceptible ( >76 leaf damage).
