The International Copper Association (ICA) recently outlined ambitious plans for its member companies to reach net zero in Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2050, as well as significantly cut Scope 3 emissions. The challenge is that copper demand is expected to double by 2050. Below are edited elements of the "roadmap" for these ambitious goals.
