On Dec. 16, Vertical Aerospace announced that it has listed on the New York Stock Exchange after completing a merger with Broadstone Acquisition Corp., a special purpose acquisition company. Shares of the UK-based eVTOL developer are trading under the ticker EVTL. The company is aiming to fly the VX4 - previously known as VA-X4 - in 2022, with the goal of launching production and completing certification of the aircraft in 2024 under the UK equivalent of EASA's SC-VTOL rules. Shortly after going public, Vertical announced on Jan. 27 that the company had appointed Domhnal Slattery as nonexecutive chairman of Vertical's board of directors, succeeding Stephen Fitzpatrick as chairman.
