摘要

I am having a threading issue on my Charmilles 40/30, using Gamma X wire. At X-wire settings the AWF is leaving a 1" long rough surface at the end which will not thread through the workpiece. If I manually cut and thread the wire, the machine cuts just fine. When I use brass wire at the brass settings, the AWF works fine. Can I manually change the X-wire settings in the machine to help this situation? First, some definitions: 1. X-wire, which was originally developed by Charmilles and Thermocompact and called Stratified wire, is a Beta brass coated, copper core wire. 2. Gamma X-wire is an upgraded double coated version of X-wire that has a copper core, beta brass intermediate layer and a gamma brass outer layer.
