摘要

The proposed antenna presents a microstripfilter antenna with both filter out-of-band rejectioncharacteristics and antenna radiation characteristics forWLAN communication system. The antenna consists offour U-shaped microstrip resonators, one Γ-shaped antenna,and one parallel coupling line. The Γ-shaped antennahas the filtering function as the last order resonator,and the parallel coupling line integrates the filter andantenna as the conductance converter. After simulationand test, the results show that the center frequency ofthe filter antenna is 5.25 GHz, the fractional bandwidthis 8.0 (5.0 ? 5.42 GHz), the in-band gain changessmoothly, the maximum in-band gain is 3.059 dBi, thegain at 150 MHz outside the passband rapidly decreasesto 10.0 dBi, and the overall out-of-band gain drops tobelow ?24 dBi. The filter antenna has a simple structureand thin substrate, which optimizes the overall size of thefilter and antenna, reduces the transmission loss betweenthem, and is applicable to the RF front-end of wirelesscommunication systems.
