An international consortium including Andritz has signed a contract with TNBPG Hydro Nenggiri Sdn. Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of TNB Power Generation Sdn Bhd, to supply the complete electro- and hydro-mechanical equipment for the 300 MW Nenggiri hydro project on the Nenggiri river in Kelantan, the northeastern state of Peninsula Malaysia. The scope of supply of the consortium includes two Francis generating units, complete mechanical and electrical balance of plant and hydro-mechanical equipment, as well as the high voltage switchyard, it was announced by Andritz on 16 December. The company added that its share of the contract is worth more than € 100 million.
