The WAFIOS booth at wire Dusseldorf included multiple pieces of interesting equipment, one of which is the first automated straightening machine, model R 36, with adjustable rotor, straightness measuring function iQm-straight and end working device EBF. Per the company, straightened and cut-off rods are checked for 100 straightness during production by means of the company's patented innovations "Adjustable straightening rotor" and "iQm-straight." The WAFIOS straightening machine for smooth steel with an enhanced servomotor-adjustable rotor made its debut at wire Dusseldorf. The patented solution adjusts the straightening dies during production via the control panel without the use of any tools. All settings can be saved. Tooling times and downtimes are reduced to a minimum. The wire, for example, can be inserted into the unclamped straightening dies, without having to open the protective hood.
