Vienna,— Borealis has completed the sale of its nitrogen business, including fertilizer, melamine and technical nitrogen products, to Agrofert at an enterprise value of €810-million (PCN, 6 June 2022, p 4). Borealis received a binding offer from Agrofert in June 2022 for the nitrogen business. The transaction was completed on 5 July 2023.
