South Korea's Taihan reports that it has won annual cumulative orders of $300 million in North America, a high mark for the company since it entered that market in the early 2000s. A press release said that T.E. USA, a U.S. corporation that is part of Taihan, won an additional order worth about $24 million. That is for an extra-high voltage underground power line project that is linked to a large-scale solar power plant to be built in the eastern desert of California. Taihan has already topped the annual order amount of the prior year, which was $240 million.
