摘要

Rotational motion generates energy extractable by the energy harvester for powering electronic devices and is also useful for self-powered sensing. An integrated triboelectric-electromagnetic-piezoelectric hybrid energy harvester induced by a multifunction magnet for rotational motion is designed and investigated herein. The hybrid energy harvester is installed on a rotating disc to create rotational motion. A cylindrical NdFeB permanent magnet (Magnet I) acts as a key movable component, reciprocating in an acrylic cylinder as the hybrid energy harvester rotates. Magnet I interacts with three different generators to achieve three power generation modes in a single motion cycle, thus improving energy harvesting efficiency. Charging 10 mu F capacitors demonstrates the superior charging capability of the hybrid energy harvester compared with individual power generation components. Assisted by a rectifier circuit and capacitor, the hybrid energy harvester as a power source at 45 rpm can supply power for thermohygrometer and illuminate 111 blue LEDs. In addition, the hybrid energy harvester exhibits good stability and durability, continuously operating the triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG) unit of the hybrid energy harvester at 30 rpm for 9 h. In short, this work demonstrates a new kind of energy harvester that provides the possibility to efficiently harvest rotational mechanical energy.
