FROM: Michael Lowe THE ratio of EVs to public chargers simply isn't good enough. Every car park should have rapid chargers installed and there should be far more 7kW kerbside units for those motorists who don't have off-street parking. FROM: Paul Edgar LOCAL EV journeys are no problem if you have a home chargepoint. Long trips are harder, because large motorway service stations will only have one or two rapid chargers. There need to be 20 or 30 at each one to cope with demand.
