The Indian government has so far spent 8.8 billion Indian rupees to support the build-out of the country's cellulosic ethanol industry. The total financial outlay for the scheme is 19.695 billion rupees for the period from 2018-19 to 2023-24. Since the start of the program the following projects have received financing.
