BENTLEY has announced that it plans to stop building its W12 engine in 2024, after two decades of production. Order books for the company's W12-engined models - including the Continental GT and Flying Spur - are set to close in December, but not before the most powerful version yet of the iconic engine arrives in the ultra-exclusive Batur model. All 18 cars have already been sold, with prices starting from £1.65m. The Batur boasts a 739bhp version of the 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12, which also produces 1.000Nm of torque.
