On the many letters we've received in response to our coverage of electric vehicles, concern about charging for those who don't own stand-alone homes has been a common refrain. One reader in particular couldhave hardly been more clairvoyant:"I would be very interested to see you apply your journalistic skills to tell me how electric cars will be made practical for the tens of millions who live in apartments and condominiums. In my particular case, my condo building has zero capacity to support home charging."That makes two of us-I live in an apartment, I was assigned to chaperone a Hyundai loniq 5, and that's what I'm going to do.
