THE UK new-car market experienced its seventh consecutive month of growth in February 2023. Registrations grew 26.2 per cent year on year to 74,441 units, as supply chain constraints eased. According to the SMMT, private, fleet and business registrations grew, up by 5.8 per cent, 46.2 per cent and 0.7 per cent respectively. Only the luxury and executive sectors failed to grow. The Vauxhall Corsa (below) was again the top seller, on 2,818 units.
