One year ago, the PMA Educational Foundation (PMAEF) became the first educational foundation in the United States to partner with the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) and the U.S. Department of Commerce in the GetTech campaign.GetTech is a public-private partnership designed to inspire teens to prepare for the technology-driven jobs of tomorrow. It is focused on increasing students' awareness of the myriad of challenging, rewarding careers available in science, technology and manufacturing, and to reinforce the need for students to take the requisite math and science courses in school so that they will be prepared to enter tomorrow's workforce.
