The phosphorus distribution ratios between highlybasic CaO-MgOsat.-SiO2-Al2O3-FeOn and CaO-MgOsat.-SiO2-FeOn slags and liquid iron have been measured as a function ofslag composition at 1,570℃ and 1,600℃. From thephosphorus distribution ratio and the oxygen contentin liquid iron, the phosphate capacities of the slags(Cpo3-4) were also calculated.
