The American Federation for Aging Research (AFAR) is a leading, national nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting biomedical and clinical aging research. Founded in 1981, AFAR has provided over $32 million to more than 1,000 students and researchers conducting basic research on the aging process and age-related diseases.
