Cold Metal Products Inc., Pittsburgh, PA, will discontinue its manufacturing of cold-rolled stainless steel due to a sluggish market and plans to focus on higher-value products.The company also announced that it will close its New Britain, CT, steel-processing plant. Slitting, edge trimming, oscillate winding and other technologies formerly offered by this plant will be available from other Cold Metal operations in the United States and Canada.
