An integral hydraulic actuator installed on the latest circular cold saw from SS Machinery positively clamps the workpiece to ensure a clean repeatable cut. Tube up to 4" in diameter is clamped on both sands of the cut to avoid any hanging burr.A recirculating coolant system and saw blades chip-cleaner also facilitate clean cutting. The oil bath gearbox features hardened ground gearing, a bronze wheel and heavy duty bearing contained in a cast iron housing.
