We report the first spectroscopic (NMR) evidences of macroscopic orientation of benzene in C(60 center dot)4C(6)H(6) solvate at room temperature. Unusually strong transcient oscillations have been observed in protoncarbon cross-polarization and cross-polarization inversion experiments for a static sample. This provides detailed geometrical information about macroscopically oriented benzene in C-60 solvate.
