AbstractPortable pumping equipment for sampling of wells, discribed by written text, photographs, and a detailed drawing, has been constructed by the Robert S. Kerr Water Research Center.The equipment can sample to depths of 300 feet at pumping rates ranging between 7 and 14 gallons per minute, with rate variation dependent upon sampling depth.The unit is convenient in size and easy to operate because only one line has to be handled during its operation.
