Rockord Systems Inc., Ro IL, will demonstrate the SSC-3000 solid-state programmable power-press-automation control. Also displayed will be other solid-state controls for use on mechanical or hydraulic presses or press brakes, a variety of barrier guards and safeguarding devices.The new control is designed for use on part-revolution power presses. Users can configure a system to include the clutch/brake control, die protection, programmable limit switch, load monitor, air monitor, shut-height control and servo-feed interface. An ethernet modem can be installed to provide remote monitoring of press production. The touch-screen display monitors press operation and is used to enter setup information.
