California pacific airlines (Carlsbad-Palomar Airlines dba) (CPA) (flycpair.com) received its first of three Embraer ERJ 170-100 LRs (msrt 17000006/N176EC, to be re-registered N760CP) in July, leased from the manufacturer's Dublin-based ECC Leasing Co.The start-up is the dream of Ted Vallas, who founded Air Resorts International (Flight Trails dba), which operated from 1975 until 1997, accumulating one of the largest fleets of Convair-Liners in the world. He also launched the stretched version of the turbine variant, the Super 580.
