In the darkness of this morning, level at 36,000ft, a slight motion outside my overhead eyebrow window caught my eye. As I tracked a southbound satellite, wondering if it was designed for communication over the poles, or maybe a leftover Cold War spy camera platform, an eastbound shooting star flared across my view. That space debris burned out before a sliver moon above a prism sunrise.
