The Skyus 500, a gigabit-speed IIoT 4G LTE-Advanced edge router by Inseego Corp., was recently named "Industrial IoT Product of the Year" by IoT Evolution, earning this award as one of the best, most innovative products powering the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). The Skyus 500 is billed as "the only full-featured IIoT router that enables LTE-Advanced Pro peak speeds of up to 1.2 Gbits/sec, best-in-class security, Power over Ethernet (PoE), WiFi, Bluetooth, and industrial-grade design." The unit's flexible architecture also provides an easy path to 5G NR, Inseego says. The product family includes a compact and configurable option, the Skyus 300, ideal for space-constrained applications.
