As expected, Boeing launched the 330-/340-seat 787-10, projecting a first flight in 2017 and service entry the following year. Orders and commitments have been placed by Singapore Airlines, United, British Airways, and GECAS. General Electric GEnx-powered Dreamliners from Qatar Airways (A7-BCB) and an undelivered example for Air India (In 90, N1008S/VT-ANN) were on display, with the latter flying a daily routine. Boeing racked up a total of 442 'customer announcements', of which several were confirmations of previously disclosed intentions.
