AbstractCrystallization of cellulose from low DP acetylated hydrolyzed bagasse pulp has been studied. The morphology of the crystals obtained after crystallization at 50°C for different intervals of time (5, 20, and 40 days) revealed needle‐shaped, elongated, ribbonlike fibrous crystals.
