Distinguished Members and Fellows of the Iron Steel Society shall be persons who have made outstanding contributions to iron and steel production or to fields embracing the activities of the steel industry and the ISS. Candidates shall be elected by the ISS Board of Directors in the manner set forth by the Iron Steel Society. (A) A two-thirds vote of the Board of Directors shall be required for elevation to Distinguished Member and Fellow, after consideration of one or more of the following specific equipments.
