Computer Aided Design has gained meaningful interests for the engineering firms. CAD is growing rapidly (fast) and modifying the design habits. This article shows how the CASTOR group took into account these techniques (this growth) for the development of new software structures and user interactions. The application of the above concept is illustrated by the HE product, which is CAD package for river networks.
