PMA opposes the imposition of quotas, higher tariffs and any other governmental action that would endanger the availability of foreign steel.PMA has been working actively to voice the concerns of the metal-forming industry to Congress, the ITC and President Bush. PMA members and PMA's Washington counsel participated in the injury and remedy phases of the ITC hearings, expressing the negative effects import restrictions will have on steel-consuming industries.
