In 1994, the company purchased its first automated bending machine from Salvagnini America, Inc., Hamilton, OH. Impressed with its performance, Estes returned to buy more from the bending - and punching - equipment supplier. Now, Estes boasts three Salvagnini benders designed to handle mild steel to a thickness of 14-gauge. In addition, the job shop employs two 30-ton Salvagnini CNC- punching and shearing systems.
