Doppler ultrasound diagnostic systems, which have been used as non-invasive diagnostic equipment in clinical fields, are now extensively and effectively utilized for tissue diagnosis, function diagnosis, and blood flow diagnosis. This report refers to our newly developed SDU-1200 and the SDU-2200 color flow ultrasound diagnostic systems, which are designed to ensure higher clinical diagnostic capabilities and higher patient throughputs. They provide clear images and high sensitivity, fully utilizing the parallel digital beam forming and fast digital signal processing techniques. Also, their Windows NT-based system provides a wide variety of capabilities and upgradebility, including easy connection to the DICOM (digital imaging and communication in medicine) option and other peripheral options.
