AbstractThe tensile properties of two cast and two extruded solid rocket propellants were studied at 25°C. and 50 R.H. over a range of failure times from 0.005 to 2500 sec. The effects of temperature were also investigated at the highest rate and at 0.1 in./in./min. over a range of −60 to 80°C. The results indicate that both temperature and rate of loading greatly affect the tensile properties of double‐base propel
